ADRP 2022: Know Before You Go

We're looking forward to seeing you at the Albuquerque Convention Center for the 19th Annual ADRP International Conference! Please see below for your Know Before You Go details. If you are a presenter, sponsor/exhibitor, or Blair Scholar, you will have received (or will be receiving) an email from the ADRP Office containing specific information. If you have not received this email, please contact our office by emailing [email protected].

Packing Advice

In September, the average temperature in Albuquerque is generally a low of 58.5°F (14.7°C) and max 78.8°F (26°C) so as you pack for Albuquerque, please keep in mind that the Convention Center will have air conditioning, and rooms may be chilly. It is wise to bring layers to help you stay comfortable whether you are inside or outside.

Dress Code

This dress code for the event is business casual. If you tend to get cold, you may want to bring a jacket or a sweater as the rooms in the conference hotels tend to be cold.

ADRP 2022 Service Project - Dressfor Success Albuquerque

Attendees will have the opportunity, as in years past, to support a local non-profit. This year we are partnering with the local chapter of Dress for Success. They provide professional clothing and accessories to women who have scheduled a job interview or are entering the workforce. Ready to donate your time without leaving the convention center? Look for the Dress for Success table during the conference to pick up a blank notecard (or two) and give a few minutes of your time to write a note of encouragement to the women they serve. If you're inclined to donate money, you can make a monetary gift online at any time before or during the conference.

Travel, Directions, & Parking

The Albuquerque Convention Center and conference hotels are a quick 10-minute drive from the Albuquerque International Sunport Airport. The Double Tree offers a shuttle from the airport which you can contact the hotel to arrange transportation if you need it.

Both the Double Tree and The Clyde Hotel are within walking distance of the Convention Center.

Double Tree by Hilton:  Hotel parking with in and out privileges upon availability to overnight guests for a flat rate of $12.00 per day, and subject to change. Conference Resources

You have access to several great resources to help you navigate the conference. In the attendee packet, you will receive upon arrival to the Convention Center, you will find a printed program book containing session details, a map of the venue, sponsor/exhibitor and speaker information, and so much more. This information is also available in the conference mobile app.

The conference app will be your best tool for navigating the conference. If you haven't already downloaded it, you can do so through both the Apple and Android app stores by searching "ADRP Conference App."

After downloading the app, you will have the conference schedule, attendee list, session materials, sponsor and exhibitor information, and much more right at your fingertips. You will be able to create your schedule inside the App by selecting the sessions you wish to attend. Session selections made during the pre-registration process were for room assignment planning purposes only. You may attend any session you wish on site.

For further information and frequently asked questions about the app, check out our Mobile App FAQ (this may need to be created still).

You will receive your passport card in your packet when you check-in. Make sure to get your card stamped at each sponsor/exhibitor you visit during the conference.

After submitting your Passport, you will be entered into a drawing to win prizes donated by our sponsors and exhibitors, as well as a grand prize of a complimentary registration 2023 ADRP Conference registration.
